Kia ora, we are Solah Dayze, a Wellington formed band. We take influence from experimenting with hip hop and neo soul flavours.

 

The band consists of Jordan Grey on drums, Peter Hamilton on Bass, Blair Gowan on Keys, and Aashan Khatri on Vocals. Our shared love of music, and sharing that music brought us together.

 

Many artist and styles such as Erykah Badu, Yussef Dayes, Troy Kingi and Mara TK initially helped to pave our musical direction, while also allowing us to feel free to express our individual musical ideas and walk off on our musical tangents. The result is a collection of our early and instinctive collaborative ideas. We look forward to sharing with you.
