Having all been students at the now-defunct Te Auaha Music Course, the four-piece band 'Pout' found each other just in time to forge a new path.
Their songs pull from a mix of alternative genres (punk, grunge, hardcore) and are grounded in a shared enthusiasm for staple bands of the 90s such as Alice in Chains and Nirvana. With each member having a variety of main loves ranging from 70s punk, 80s metal, Britpop, Balladeers, Old-School Bluegrass, Psychedelic, who knows where their sound will lead?
